East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices are delighted to become part of this fantastic fundraising event. This is an exciting year for the charity as we launch our first major capital fundraising campaign ‘The Treehouse Appeal’ to raise £3million to build a new children’s hospice in Ipswich for children and families in Suffolk and North Essex. The EACH Waddle is a fun activity based walk for children to take part in and get sponsored to complete. For each activity undertaken they will receive a stamp on their ‘Waddle’ card to show their sponsors that they have completed them. If you are interested in joining The Waddle, this is what you need to do:
- apply to register for The EACH Waddle by clicking this link.
- alternatively please contact Norman Haines, 147 Henley Road, Ipswich IP1 4NL, telephone 01473 215333 who can send you a registration form in the post.
- Either way once you have completed the registration form please send it to Norman Haines, together with the appropriate registration fee for each participant - there is a registration fee of £2.50 per child (£5 on day) but no fee is payable for adults accompanying children on The Waddle.
- you will then receive a confirmation letter and sponsorship forms for each participant.
- participants can then seek sponsors for The Waddle.
- sponsorship forms should be brought on the day of the event to enable us to record how much sponsorship has been raised.
- upon completion of The Waddle the sponsorship form will be returned along with confirmation that The Waddle has been completed.
- the money due from each of the sponsors should then be collected.
- the amount collected should then be sent to The EACH Treehouse Appeal Office, Room 23 Epsilon House, West Road, Ransomes Europark, Ipswich IP3 9FJ Tel: 01473 276115.
There is a registration fee of £2.50 per child (£5 on day) but no fee is payable for adults accompanying children on The Waddle.
